About

Software for running apartment buildings

City is a manager's console for residential property. It holds the things a building actually runs on — who lives in which unit, which cars may pass the gate, who is visiting today, what needs fixing, and what is owed — in one place, instead of across a spreadsheet, a WhatsApp group, and a gate register.

What it does

Properties are split into buildings, floors, and units. People are attached to units as owners, tenants, or household members, so a flat can have an absentee owner and a resident tenant at the same time without pretending they are one person.

From there: parking bays and a plate whitelist for the gate, visitor passes with a QR code, tickets for anything the property owes someone, and invoices with payments recorded against them.

Who it is for

Managing agents and owners' associations running one building or several. Each organization gets its own workspace at its own address, and sees only its own properties.

Data and privacy

City holds records about real people — residents, their vehicles, and their visitors. That deserves plain answers rather than a policy nobody reads.

What is stored
Only what running a building requires: units and who occupies them, contact details you enter, registered vehicle plates, visitor bookings, gate decisions, tickets, and invoices with their payments. Nothing tracks where people go beyond the gate checks a guard actually performs.
Where it is kept
On managed infrastructure in India, so records about residents stay in the region they belong to.
Kept separate
Every record belongs to exactly one organization. Workspaces cannot see each other's data, and an address that is not yours answers as though it does not exist.
Encrypted
Encrypted in transit and at rest, end to end. Passwords are stored only as a one-way scramble that cannot be reversed — we could not read yours if we tried.
Visitor passes
A pass link opens without signing in, because that is what makes it usable at a gate. It carries an unguessable address and shows only the visitor's name, who they are visiting, the property address, and the expected time. Treat the link as the pass, and send it only to the visitor.
Gate records
Every check at the desk is written down — what was presented, the decision, the reason, and who ran it. That record is what makes an access dispute answerable.
What we do not do
City carries no analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing pixels. Your data is not sold, rented, or shared, and is never used to train anything.
Your data is yours
You can correct or delete any record from inside the console. Ask us and we will export everything your organization holds, or delete the workspace and its records outright.
