Pricing questions
- What counts as an active unit?
- A unit with at least one active resident record against it, whether that is an owner, a tenant or a household member. Vacant units, units still under construction and units you have set up but not yet occupied are not billed. A half sold building is charged as a half sold building.
- What happens after the 30-day trial?
- Nothing switches off on its own. We tell you before the trial ends, and you either pick a plan or you stop. If you stop, ask and we export everything your organisation holds. We do not hold your data hostage to get you onto a plan.
- Do you handle the migration?
- Yes, and it is included. Send us whatever you have, usually a spreadsheet of units and residents, and we load it for you. There is no setup fee and no separate onboarding charge, because the migration is the main thing standing between you and using the system.
- Can we change plans later?
- Yes, in either direction, from the start of the next billing month. Moving up takes effect as soon as you ask. Nothing you have already entered is lost when you move down, though features outside your plan stop being available.
- Do we need hardware to use the gate features?
- No. The guard desk works with nothing but a browser: the guard types a plate or scans a pass, and gets an allow or refuse decision with the reason. RFID readers, ANPR cameras and boom barriers are optional additions on Enterprise, and they use the same decision rule the desk already uses.
- Why is there no price on Enterprise?
- Because a portfolio deal is not one number. A developer or a management company bringing several thousand units usually needs a phased rollout, handover arrangements and terms a published rate cannot describe, so it is settled in a conversation. Tell us the portfolio and we will quote it.
- Is the volume discount applied automatically?
- Yes. It is based on the total active units on your account across every property, so bringing a whole portfolio onto one account is cheaper than splitting it across several.
